Erik Cofield

Erik Cofield has been in the housing industry since 2000 providing business best practices for production and custom builders, remodelers and associates in many areas such as sales, marketing, accounting, HR, vendor relations, business strategy and more. He has the ability to analyze problems, implement and manage solutions, people and programs, as well as build relationships.  Erik has been a business strategist and sales and marketing consultant for BuildTopia and Builder1440, and currently consults with builders on software automation solutions.

He enjoys applying best practices to businesses and being part of their success, growth and financial stability. His consulting experience includes Remodelers, Custom Builders, Volume Builders and Associate members.

As a long time advocate for education and professionalism in the residential construction industry, he managed the education program for the Greater Houston Builders Association for 2 years and holds the CGA (Certified Graduate Associate) designation from the National Association of Homebuilders.

He is authorized to instruct several NAHB courses, regularly presents his own original content at events for builder associations. He can be reached at buildertech@yahoo.com.
