Scott Stroud is owner of Selling More Homes Media, the premier online sales and marketing resource for the new home industry.  He is also host of BuilderRadio’s Selling More Homes Podcast and Blog, writes a monthly column on marketing and sales strategies for the Modular Housing Institute’s Journal, and coaches builders through The Selling More Homes Academy.

Scott has been involved in the business of marketing, designing, selling and building homes for over 30 years. He began framing houses in 1974 and went on to become an award-winning systems builder/dealer outside his hometown of Louisville, KY.

In 1993 Scott was appointed Vice President of Marketing and Sales for a national home producer and spent the next 13 years directing, growing and supporting sales organizations within the housing industry.  He is active in the Building Systems Council of the NAHB, and has been a regular speaker at the annual International Builders Show, the Modular Housing Institute’s Congress & Expo, Structural Insulated Panel Association, Timber Framers Business Council, and others.

Scott teamed up with Jerry Rouleau in 2006 to create BuilderRadio.com and The Selling More Homes Academy.  A student of current marketing tools and technology, Scott brings his previous experience and energy as a builder, new home dealer, and marketer to every project he engages.
